Ladies and Gentlemen

I give all the praise to the God and Father of our master Jesus who chose me before the foundations of the earth to be his delight.

He stood by us during the electioneering process. May His name be praised forever.

I want to appreciate Nkwelle-Ezunaka Union for their efforts in ensuring that the right things are done for the progress and development of our dear town.

I want to specially appreciate the President General(PG) Ogbuefi Wilfred Okafor for the giant strides he has made.

Ogbuefi Ugonwenyi, Nkwelle-Ezunaka will not forget your labour of love.

Ndị Nkwelle-Ezunaka, thank you for coming out in mass to vote on the 28th of October.

Thank you for electing me as your Igwe. You have done great for me and for our community.

Ndị Ogbuefi Nkwelle-Ezunaka, daalụ nụ. You actually stood your ground ensuring we get things right.

I also want to appreciate all the ordained men of God in Nkwelle-Ezunaka. The Reverend Fathers in St. Williams and other stations, the Vicars in Immanuel Church, St. Barnabas and other parishes and the pastors of pentecostals in our dear town. Thank you for your prayers and encouragement.

The election has come and gone, our goal of having a king bas been achieved.

As our dear town and our nation are pulled apart by the powerful contrifugal forces of hatred, intolerance, bigotry, ignorance, selfishness and greed we must unite as a people in order to overcome.

As we navigate the days ahead, I call for unity and continued engagement for the progress of our dear town. Our development depends on peace.

We have to be Self-sufficient, so instead of fighting let's  use our energies to shapen our future. It is our collective responsibility to ensure that our neighborhoods remains a havens for every individual regardless of age or background.

Ndị Nkwelle-Ezunaka are entitled to adequate security for their lives and livelihood.

I call on all Nkwellians especially village leaders to take full responsibility in promoting security at all levels.

This we must do by conserving our traditions and culture, language and commonly held values. Ndị Nkwelle-Ezunaka  adịghị(ade) ezu ori; ejighi iwe ihe mmadụ mara anyị.

We must pick this value and preserve it.

To achieve this, our youth and children must think of going back to school.

Education is a powerful key to development. Those who get education have more opportunities in their lives and tend to be healthier.

Societies with high rates of education completion have lower crime, better overall health and civic involvement. Lack of access to education is considered the root of poverty.

We must shun land grabbing and criminality;and make plans to enlighten our minds to make money legally.

As your new king, I am committed to ensuring that all our youth are empowered for our development.

Different Youth Empowerment Programmes shall be introduced to our youth.

I wouldn't like to bore you with long speech. I have been chosen by you to serve both the indigenes and non-indigens of Nkwelle-Ezunaka.

Nkwelle-Ezunaka ga-adị mma maka na ihe a batago. Mụ na gị bụ ihe. We are the light; and we must shine brighter and brighter.

Long live Ndị Nkwelle-Ezunaka

Long live Oyi

Long live Anambra State
