With profound humility, joy and gratitude, the Chairman/5oard of Trustees and entire Management,/Staff of I.G AGUOWO HEALTH AND ACADEMIC FOUNDATION wish to seize this opportunity to thank the Almighty for making this occasion a reality.
In the same vein, we wish to welcome, thank and appreciate all of you here present for finding time amidst your very tight schedules to grace and honour this occasion.
It is noteworthy to outrightly state herein that I.G AGUOWO HEALTH AND ACADEMIC FOUNDATION a Non-Profit Making Organization duly registered with Corporate Affairs Commission with its main aims/objectives as follows:
A. Providing basic education to less privileged in the society
B. Providing social, economic and educational empowerment to the less privileged in the society,
C. Enabling the less privileged to receive good health care services whenever needed and to deliver
health services that a re cost effective and meet pre-established standards of quality.
D. Donating health and medical equipment to local communities to strengthen their health system.
THE OBJECTIVES OF THIS SEMINARWORKSHOP ARE STATED AS FOLLOWS:
(1} The sensitization/enlightenment of our beneficiaries and the roles of l.G Aguowo Health and Academic
Foundation towards our beneficiaries.
(2) Importance of Education and Health in the society.
13) The roles of Parents/Guardians towards their children's education.
{4) Academic Scholarship Award to some selected indigent Beneficiaries.
(5) Appreciation of Three best students of I.G Aguowo Health and Academic Foundation in this just concluded 2021/2022 Academic Session
The roles of I.G AGUOWO HEALTH AND ACADEMIC FOUNDATION in the health and educational lives of a very reasonable and overwhelming number of persons within and across Anambra State so far viz-a-viz celebrating and appreciating some of the beneficiaries for their excellent performance in their various schools since January, 2021 when the Foundation single-handedly started paying their schools fees till date.
We pray that the good Lord would continue to grant them the needed wisdom, health and religious inclinations as they sojourn through their academic pursuit in life. They are our future and the betterment or our state and
country is dependent on them and as such should be charitably supported and wisely invested as the Foundation is currently undertaking
The Foundation has so far through the Chairman/foundar Ozo lchie lgnatius Onyeka Aguowo solely without any sponsorship from elsewhere contributed immensolv to the growth of both health and academic sectors in the state and in Nigeria in different ways.
A. Consistent payment of school fees for over 250 well performing and indigent students in more than 10 States of Federal Republic of Nigeria both at primary, secondary and tertiary levels since 2021 till date
B. Payment of hospital bills for many indigent persons and full sponsorship of medical surgeries for some persons both within and across the state,
C. Award of Academic Scholarships to students in Anambra State and other States of Nigeria.
D.Full support of all academic and health schemes in the past administration of the state.
E. The Foundation is currently renovating the dilapidated Principal/Corpers' Quarters and One Academic Building at Ezeike High School Nibo in Awka South LGA of Anambra State.
All the above achievements are very irrefutable and verifiable as most of the beneficiaries and their parents/guardians are present here. The Foundation has unequivocally spent very colossal sums of money running into several milions of naira so far to make sure that all our beneficiaries are not sent out of school
However, the Foundation most humbly at this juncture wish to appeal to the Parents/Guardians of all our beneficiaries for their consistent and prompt maximum co-operation to help the Foundation effectively,unflinchingly and assiduously discharge its aims and objectives so as to boost the academic standard of the state and bring it to an enviable status. This, if well hearkened to, would obviously ensure synergy and a very healthy and dependable relationship between the Foundation and the Beneficiaries.
We further solicit the full support of Anambra State Government through the Ministry of Education and Health in helping the Foundation achieve its aims/objectives as we herein affirm and assure our steady readiness in partnering with the Ministries at all levels to boost the academic and health standards of the State. We thank them for their maximum support, encouragement and co-operation so far.
Last but not the least, we enjoin people all over the world, other Anambrarians both home and abroad who are well blessed financially, academically and otherwise to be very philanthropic by assisting these children who are willing to make a difference.We care about these children because they are the future of tomorrow.
Conclusively, the Foundation is of utmost expectancy that the beneficiaries would sometime in the future emulate the philanthropic and charitable works of this Foundation by further sponsoring some other indigent students in their various States. We once more thank you all for finding time to grace this occasion and pray to the good Lord to grant you journey mercies back to your various destinations.
