The people of Ojoto kingdom celebrates the EgwuEke, a remarkable ancestral festival, performed by Ojoto women for bountiful harvests and honour of heroes that fought war.

The festival kicks-off from the ancestral Eke Ọjọ market square, where the great deity, Alụsị Iyi Ọsụ is situated.

The traditional ruler of Ojoto, HRM Igwe Gerald Obunadike Mbamalụ (Eze Ojoto III, Eze Oranyelụ I), celebrates this year's Egwueke festival in grandstyle at the field of Idemmili south local government headquarters Ojoto.
