Annual General Meeting of the Uzotex group made up of, Blue Diamond Logistics, Shanghai Engineering Works & Industrial Limited, and Uzotex International Limited, went down successfully at Owerri on the 12th day of January 2019 hosted in one of Uzotex Groups component company Shanghai Engineering Works & Industrial Limited , the Civil Construction and Aluminum operational base and an arm of Uzotex Group PVC Plastic production lines. The AGM which was themed Performance Appraisal witnessed the recognition of the commitment to duty of its staff and workers and in alliance with the spirit of the new season the CEO Mr. Festus Uzoma Mbisiogu rewarded hardwork and charged all hands to brace up for the challenges ahead. Many Awards and cash incentives were given to spur on, encourage and inspire the employees.
Mr. Igwegbe Daniel Chima recieved award from the CEO for his outstanding commitment to duty for the year 2018 while,
Mr. Ifeanyi Duru was handed the award of Punctuality of the year 2018. Two company drivers were recognized for their commitment to duties.
The CEO announced new appointments to the management to ease the operations of the group to achieve its targeted objectives; in persons of:
1. Hanneys Osuji as the PVC pipes production Manager.
2. Anthony Ozor as the company Brand Manager.
The new appointees were tasked to join in the realisation of the clear vision, mission and set objectives of the group by contributing their quota to shooting the group to enviable heights and speedy global recognition.
The CEO took a precious time to admonish and encourage Nigerians to patronise the group products most especially Tiger Supreme Brands a building material products of SEWIL (Shanghai Engineering Works & Industrial Limited) which has in availability and quality displace other home manufactured and imported brands in the market due to the high set production standard maintained by SEWIL.
The CEO went ahead to state without equivocation and sincere conviction about the efficient operations of Blue Diamond Logistics, the shipping line arm of the group that " it's aim and core objective is to ensure customer speedy delivery, accuracy and above all safety of the customers goods, shipping, clearing and delivery of goods to the customers door post is our watch word" he went on to relate on the testimonies of customers.
He went further to state that the shipping arm of Uzotex group, Blue Diamond Logistics has been rated one of the top 10 in Asia for African destination shipping line.
